(Gonna try to be more active on this thing because wow
I have been seriously neglectful)
NO
NO.
Sure, why not?
People who tell UsCan shippers that their ship is bad because it’s incest:
Um, you know the idea that they’re brothers is never actually canon, right?
I don’t have an opinion on the ship one way or the other, but don’t go bashing ships based on something that isn’t truedon’t go bashing ships period. Just because you think they’re brothers, doesn’t mean everyone else does.
Sorry, I’ve been seeing a bit of this recently, and it bothers me.I agree.
I don’t want to flame the most popular headcanons in fandom but it’s canon time people
1.Canada & America aren’t twins-> it is stated in canon that they have different birthdays’ dates
Canada->July 1
America->July 4
2.If they are blood-related brothers …-> why they don’t share the same (last) name just like Feliciano and Romano Vargas ?
Different surnames are still passable (stepbrothers?) but please explain me the fact below:
3.If they are blood-related brothers ->why they call each other by their country names and why the younger one doesn’t use the “onii-chan” or “brother” form (notice that Feli uses “onii-chan” form when addressing Romano or Ludwig uses “Bruder” when refering to Gil?)
The canon fact about them is that they share similar looks - so similar that people constantly mistake Matthew for Alfred.I’m not denying the fact that they might be brothers -they look like the mirror images of themselves after all-it just that there are no canon statements that prove the fact they indeed are blood-related.
1. Twins can have different birthdays. Three days won’t make a difference.
2. They were ALWAYS raised by three different people. At one point, it is implied that Austria may have had both Vargos brothers. And there is also Grandpa ROme. They both knew him. He could have named them.
3. When does Sealand ever call Britain (England) onii-chan? Maybe I missed it, but I don’t think he has. Not everyone has to give the other such endearing terms.
Sorry, but that struck a cord with me. AmeCan or CanAme is not high on my list of shippings, and I do agree it is incest, but let the fandom do as they will, please. I know you (^^^^^^^^^^) aren’t trying to stop this shipping, but others might not think that way.
((Gonna butt in here a bit to say that twins can have different birthdays, but only one day apart, not three days apart. i.e. One twin can be born on March 5th 11:59 PM and the other can be born on March 6th 12:01 AM, technically giving them different birthdays, but still only having them born minutes apart. But no, three days difference does not make them twins, unless in really rare, really dangerous situations.
And also, they’re countries, not actual people, so no, it’s not actual incest. Some people prefer to ship it as incest and that’s perfectly fine, but yeah, they’re countries so it doesn’t really ~matter.))
Why should we keep that a dream, Angleterre? You want to make that a reality?
…Yeah, that’s it for today. Adieu, sweet cheeks.
Listen kid, I don’t need you here, touching me, or even breathing the same air as me. Understood?
I’m leaving.
Go on, hmm?
